A newly released photo of former President Donald Trump from the White House has caught the attention of social media users, with many zooming in to analyze even the smallest details.
The image features Trump standing in front of five portraits of past U.S. presidents while holding a model airplane. However, what truly captured the internet’s curiosity was an unexpected reflection in an ornate, gold-framed mirror behind him.
Sharp-eyed users quickly spotted the reflection of tech mogul Elon Musk, positioned just over Trump’s right shoulder. The discovery led to a flood of online reactions, with some finding it amusing, while others described it as “strange,” “creepy,” and even “unsettling.”
“This has to be one of the funniest pictures I’ve ever seen,” one user commented. Another added, “Creepy AF!!!” while a third echoed, “That is so weird.”
Speculation quickly spread about Musk’s constant presence near the former president, especially now that he serves as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“Trump, blink twice if he has your family hostage!” one commenter joked.
The photo surfaced shortly after Trump and Musk’s interview with Sean Hannity, where the two spoke about their mutual admiration. Some critics and media outlets have suggested that Musk holds significant sway over Trump, even dubbing him “President Musk.”
Musk, however, dismissed such claims. “I love the president, I just want to be clear about that. I think President Trump is a good man,” he said. “The way the media has treated him is outrageous. I’ve spent a lot of time with him, and I’ve never seen him do anything mean, cruel, or wrong.”
