President Donald Trump has completed his first physical exam of his second term, which included a cognitive assessment. The five-hour evaluation took place at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and was conducted by Dr. Sean Barbabella.

According to the White House, Trump passed the cognitive test with a perfect score—30 out of 30—and was declared in “excellent cognitive and physical health.”
“He remains fully fit to carry out the duties of Commander-in-Chief,” Barbabella wrote, noting Trump’s strong cardiac, neurological, and pulmonary function. The report also mentioned his active lifestyle and “frequent victories in golf events” as positive contributors.
Trump’s weight was listed at 224 pounds, which drew public attention. Addressing reporters, he said, “I did well. I felt in very good shape. A good heart, a good soul.”

The exam marked the first official health update since the assassination attempt on Trump in July 2024. Dr. Barbabella noted minor scarring on Trump’s right ear from the incident, but no other significant issues.
Trump is currently taking Aspirin, Mometasone cream for a skin condition, and cholesterol medications Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe.
Recent appearances sparked speculation about his health after visible bruises on his hand were noticed during a February meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. The White House dismissed the rumors, saying the bruises were from Trump’s active schedule and frequent handshakes.

Social media also circulated videos from Mar-a-Lago showing Trump’s leg appearing unsteady, fueling further speculation.
Despite this, Trump emphasized he took the cognitive test to “be different” from his predecessor, Joe Biden, whom he often criticized over age and mental sharpness.
